About Me

Proven Expertise • Trusted Quality

I am Kazi Harunar Rashid, a Senior QA Engineer and Independent Software Quality Consultant with extensive experience across international and local projects, including former IT consulting work in the USA. I hold an MSc in Physics and have completed Computer Science coursework in the USA, Malaysia, India, and Bangladesh. I am a citizen of Bangladesh and currently based in Dhaka.

Professional Focus

I approach software quality assurance with a strong emphasis on precision, efficiency, and collaboration. By combining structured test planning, comprehensive manual and automated testing, and industry best practices, I help organizations deliver reliable, secure, and business-aligned software solutions. I value clear communication, continuous learning, and continuous process improvement, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive quality, scalability, and long-term value.

Community Leadership & Social Impact

Founder & President – Gopalganj Social Welfare Association (2013 – Present)

Beyond my professional practice, I am actively engaged in leadership, public education, and thought leadership initiatives related to technology and social development. I serve as the Founder and President of the Gopalganj Social Welfare Association, a non-profit, non-political volunteer organization dedicated to community development and social progress. Our work focuses on poverty alleviation, women and youth economic empowerment, strengthening social cohesion through sports and cultural activities, and promoting environmental protection through tree plantation and public awareness programs.

Community Education & Digital Transformation Advocacy (2009–2012)

Between 2009 and 2012, I voluntarily conducted community education programs for students, business owners, and professionals to raise awareness about the importance and practical impact of digital transformation in Bangladesh. Through seminars and symposiums, I explained how early adoption of digital technologies could improve efficiency, transparency, and economic participation, supporting national digital advancement efforts through education and awareness.

In addition, I have contributed articles to newspapers and magazines on topics related to digital transformation, technology adoption, and societal impact. These writings aimed to make complex technology concepts accessible to a broader audience and to encourage informed dialogue on the role of digital systems in economic and social development.

Translating Complexity Into Value

Collectively, these experiences have strengthened my ability to translate complex technical and process-driven concepts into clear, practical insights for diverse audiences—an ability I continue to apply in my QA leadership, consulting engagements, and stakeholder collaboration.
